15-5-24: Beekeeping
Thank you to Jo Johnson, a well respected local Beekeeper, and member of the Wharfedale Beekeepers Association, for providing Burley Shedders with a very informative and animated guide to the world of Beekeeping.
Jo brought along a real-life model of a beehive, together with various objects which very much brought to life the amazing world of the Honey Bee!! and how Beekeepers are able to tame this otherwise stinging insect, which does so much (and more) for our eco-systems!!
Jo was able to demonstrate and explain the amazingly complex and somewhat mind-bending capabilities of "The Hive" and how skilled Beekeepers are able to manage this awesome natural process.
