29-07-2025: Visit - Weston Hall and All Saints Church Weston
A good turnout of Shed Members enjoyed an interesting and informative guided tour of Weston Hall and All Saints Church Weston near Otley.
The tours are led by the family of the present owner Christopher Dawson, who is now the 32nd Squire, they inherited the estate in 2011.
The Hall and the Banqueting Tower are both Grade 1 and the Tithe Barn and Ice House are Grade 2 listed buildings.
All Saints Church Weston is only a short walk from Weston Hall, and is also a Grade 1 building. The church and its priest were mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1085 although there is evidence of earlier Christian worship taking place there.
Tours of the Hall, Gardens and Church operate each year from the end of July until the end of August.
