13-03-2025 Visit - Royal Armouries
A good turn out of Shed members enjoyed a day trip to the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
Members were able to view many of the exhibits on show plus enjoy a number of performances given by the Armouries staff. The Shed would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Armouries and their performers for an enjoyable and informative day, and to Neil Grant, a Trustee of the Royal Armouries for a very interesting talk about the armour belonging to Henry VIII. Also many thanks to our driver Geoff from Ilkley Community Transport.
