22-04-2026: Trip - Pontyslot - Slot Car Racing
Shedders enjoyed an excellent trip to the Boot and Shoe pub and Pontyslot at Ackworth near Pontefract.
Slot car racing is the grown up's version of Scalextric racing. Members enjoyed racing the slot cars around a very good track helped along the way by members of the Pontyslot club. Congratulations go to Jonathan Duncan who finished top of the Shed's leader board for the number of laps of the circuit completed.
We would like to thank Peter Robinson for organising our visit to the Boot and Shoe pub for refreshments and to the club itself.
Also a big thank you to the Pontyslot club members for giving us a very enjoyable evening, and to Dave our driver from Ilkley Community Transport.
