07-07-2026: Trip - A guided tour of Farnley Hall
Burley Men's Shedders enjoyed an interesting and informative guided tour of Farnley Hall, near Otley.
Our tour guides, Guy, Diane and Judy talked about the history of the seventeenth-century hall, the Fawkes family who own it and it's links to the artist J M W Turner.
Shed members explored the grounds and many of the rooms including the Library, Music Room, Dining Room and the magnificent staircase.
The afternoon concluded with afternoon tea and cakes in the halls kitchen.
