Shedders were treated to a very interesting, informative and enjoyable talk from Geoff Queen, a former Civil Engineer on the railways.
Geoff talked about his working life on the railways as a civil engineer. He was mainly involved with rail track projects across the country including Birmingham, London Euston, Merseyside and in Yorkshire. He dealt with track maintenance, upgrades and rail junction re designs. He showed members many interesting photos from his time on the lines.
