On a cold February morning Shed members were treated to a very interesting and entertaining talk by Richard Scott about his Arctic adventure.
Richard spent 10 days within the Arctic Circle with 13 others in February 2024 participating in an Off Grid Survival Challenge. It was run by ex-marines and participants had to learn how to survive the harsh conditions by working as team to build shelters, source wood for fires and producing water from snow.
The challenge raised over £33.000 for the Royal British Legion to help members of the Armed Forces.
